I'm looking at getting either the CM Storm Trigger or Quickfire TK, and the trigger looks very appealing. The Trigger is cheaper and seems to have more features as well, but I was wondering how limited 6 key rollover is? The main thing I see the Trigger lacking against the TK is that the Trigger has 6-key rollover over usb, but the TK has 'n' key over P/S2. Otherwise the Trigger is about 15-20$ cheaper and has all 104 keys and 5 macro keys (don't think I will need macros but it might be nice for LoL which I play sometimes.) I do like the TK's form factor but either is fine.

For every day use, 6 KRO will be more than enough. It only really comes into play if you play games / do things which require pressing alot of keys at once. You say you play LoL, do you play many other MOBAs? I personally think 6KRO is fine for general / light gaming use.

No, I just play LoL. I mainly play fps games, but I do play a variety of other genres sometimes. I think it should be fine, because I'm mainly using 3-4 keys at once while gaming anyways. And only one hand on the keyboard so I can't really press more than 5 keys haha.

Oh, do you think is better, the trigger or tk? If you don't have a preference that's cool too.

6 key rollover is not enough, especially for those who like to type with their face.

Seriously though, the TK in Red would be good for ya if gaming is your primary purpose.  I just picked up the TK Brown and I like it very much.  It's good for gaming as well as good for typing.  Although, I don't mind typing on Reds at all, some do though.

Well if you're an octopus or any animal really with more than 2 arms I have sad news that 6 key roll over may not be enough, but an average every day human is fine with it. I play LoL with my Quickfire TK and I have no problems whatsoever, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I don't use the PS/2 port considering mine is broken.

If you play any sort of FPS then i do not recommend 6 key rollover, if you type really fast on a regular basis like me then 6KRO might be a constrain sometimes as well.

But if you only do light gaming and type at everyday speeds (Mine is in excess of 120wpm lol) then 6KRO is perfectly fine. Both the trigger and TK are excellent keyboards, go for whichever you like more!

I don't get how 6kro would not be enough for FPSs, one of your hands should always be on your mouse anyways. Same with MOBAs. The only time I felt that the 5kro of my keyboard is enough was when I tried playing Devil May Cry 3/FIFA on it, although a gamepad is almost mandatory for those games, so I can't complain.
