Noob Question

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

@CowsGoRoar

best way is the hoses on the bottom, eliminates air entering the pump assembly.

leaves the top of radiator the air space chamber and does not allow air to circulate

back into the system.

hoses on top allows the air to collect on both sides of the tank and gulp air on

startup (can allow pump to rattle and click).

Noob question: Does the way you mount the rad and pump block matter? With my Corsair H60, the manual says to have it like this (res at the bottom, pump with the tubes on the right):

 HS-006-CS_61514_350.jpg

Or some people do this (res on top, pump block with tubes on the bottom):

Sorry for extremely huge pictures. So now you get it, does it matter? I know it's a noob question, but Google has mixed answers. Some say yes, some say no, the manual says yes.

Thank you airdeano, now I understand why the manual recommended that specific orientation.
