What CPU Do you Guys prefer for a gtx 770 build??? I will be using an h100i for cooling and want the best Gaming performance... I know the 8320 is the best but I dont really wanna spend the $160 Because I will be getting Broadwell in a few months. This is just to hold me over pretty much :) I was thinking if I get a g3258 I can just switch my CPU when broadwell Comes out then I wont have to rebuild the pc.... Your thoughts and opinions plz

Amd 8320

Amd 6300

Amd 965

Intel G3258

Its all looks these days

not an option. Did you not read the part about this is just a hold over.......

Well if you went for a Core i5-4690K you wouldn't need to spend anything else, Broadwell isn't going to be noticeable anyway. But out of that list I'd get the G3258 but I still say Core i5-4690K or a 4670K if you can get a great deal.

My logic (free to disagree of course) is that if you went Core i5-4690K then you have a good CPU, even though it is cheap I wouldn't by a Pentium just to change it out in a few months

Just wait for boradwell :P

Boradwell doesn't exist and it never will.

If we're talking about Broadwell then it won't be that insane of a change.

G3258 is perfect ONLY if it's video games and you're NOT planning on streaming the games.
