They make the mobile Tegra but I was wondering if they are any plans for NVIDIA to release a desktop CPU?

Possible, but i dont think people will buy it unless it competes with the 3570k or 8350

Well, all things are possible, and theres probably a market for it out there, but we just have to wait and see what nvidia will bring out.

I doubt it. AMD and Intel are pretty much all the competition right now.

Yea that's what I was thinking and it would be nice to have even more competition, I like Intel but I'd like their prices to drop a little lol

I wonder if they could make it to where running and NVidia gpu with their cpu's would make them run better. Because if they can make the combo work well and have a little bit of features then they could possibly have some buyers

SOC ARM chips are very different to x86 CPU's. They'd need to hire a lot intelligent individuals to make anything viable.

I don't see it happening.

Would be nice to add some competition to the market, but it won't happen.

Just need to hope AMD don't go bankrupt, or we are all fucked.

They may make a laptop one. (Power savings in tablet--> Laptop that saves power)
