yeah, you can use cuda as long as the application supports is. Using SLI won't do anything, they will show as 2 different tasks/.

he means do they double when there is 2 cards, and no they do not

I know what he's asking but I'm no sure what situation he's referencing to, not sure if I'm putting this right or I'm not able to brain properly because I'm tired.

Doesn't work like that. They don't stack, the API just sends the tasks off to the separate cards.

Again, as I asked the other person, does this mean I could render two different videos in Adobe at the same time with both cards separately then?

Go have another drink and get some cheese.

....I don't think you should be on the forums right now then. LOL

Yeah, when I saw his post, my immediate thought was "Uh oh, that's not good"

His latest status update was rather amusing though.

Unlikely, you'd have to check the settings in Adobe if they're card specific or API based.

I do not believe so. As far as I know, you're only able to do one at a time, and SLI doesn't benefit the render either. Remember they're not two independent cards; the second card is only meant to help the first.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

i think of sli like this, you double (or increase) the clock speed of your first card so it can do things faster but it cant do more things faster
