From Slick's review, I already know I don't want one, especially due to the EPS cable/HDD cage issue. And I personally don't like how the case looks.

If I get a case for my Matx board I will be getting the phanteks mini XL. I'm mad they didn't release an air 540 with the air 240's updates, it looks to be a much better case, but too small. Whereas the Air 540 is nice, but needs some fixes, for instance

three 120's on top

three 120's on bottom with filters

the rear HDD cage

The SSD cage

The air 540 is a good idea, but they needed to refine it a bit more for functionality. Who really want's hot swap bays under their gpu's, where you have to remove a case panel in order to remove the hot swap drives? It's just stupid.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Nah, looked meh.

I think the looks are nice, I love the 540 AIR. An air-cooled mITX, single high-end GPU, SSD only build might work nicely IMO.

From Slick's review, I already know I don't want one, especially due to the EPS cable/HDD cage issue. And I personally don't like how the case looks.

Yep, the gripes Slick had with the build quality and case features in general were pretty off putting.

May I ask why not?

Corsair PSUs are awesome. have you had some bad experiences with customer support or had to RMA a load of their stuff before?

Better options for the price in psu's.

Cases, I like the premium case market, your SilverStone fortrezs and tjemini, Lian li, etc.

Corsair used to be better with 550d, 650d, 800d

ahhhhh okay I see. I get that there are gonna be other more high-quality companies out there. Next desktop I do is going to be in a Fractal case.

I was just wondering because I have a Corsair PSU and they do really solid stuff.

I'm not very keen on the case, too much of a rushed afterthought in design for me in response to the node 804. I don't like the design, same with the air 540, although I think the 540 is an outstanding case otherwise and would readily suggest it to people.

Not a very well designed case, although it looks pleasing on the outside but there are quite a few oversights such as cable management issues and imbalanced airflow.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro | PSU: Enermax Revolution87+ 850W | Motherboard: MSI Z97 MPOWER MAX AC | GPU 1: MSI R9 290X Lightning | CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k | SSD: Samsung SM951 128GB M.2 | HDDs: 2x 3TB WD Black (RAID1) | CPU Cooler: Silverstone Heligon HE01 | RAM: 4 x 4GB Team Group 1600Mhz

I actually felt that Slick gave a very nice review of the AiO240 (my name for it). Not biased. Willing to call it out on a few issues. I do wish he mentioned the US release price and discussed the materials more. But still, he was willing to give both sides.

Overall my view is that this case doesn't bring anything interesting to the market. The looks are there if you're into it, but the build quality and materials are not impressive, the space use is not very smart (in particular the trouble with mounting fans), and the price is high (but it's Corsair, what do you expect?). I hope the sales crash and Corsair realizes they need to actually innovate. Due to the motherboard form factor, Corsair couldn't implement their permanent central standoff unfortunately.

I will say something positive though. Corsair took the idea of those thumbscrews with anti-vibration mounts that hang a bit and don't completely come off. I forget what it's called. Didn't NZXT innovate that feature?
