So there are a lot of people who say the wireless internet is bad and is very slow. Not so with my internet [

Funny thing is I pay for 50/25 so I'm getting better then I pay for.

So lets see who has the best wireless and please do not cheat and show wired internet.

We already have a thread identical to this, but I'll give it a go.

EDIT: This is through a couple walls, lots of interference (I'm on the 2.4GHz band) and I'm on a netbook with a mediocre signal strength (the ability to pick signal up).

Firstly, one of these threads will be deleted for being a double-post. (edit: nevermind, you already knew that)

Secondly, aren't you the same guy who complained about your threads being moved because you put them in the wrong section? This thread is in the wrong section, and should probably go in "Networking".

Anywhoo, to answer your question, I have some really crappy dual-band wireless-N router.. My laptop's connection speed to the router is 144 Mbps, though I generally see about 80-90 Mbps on speedtest.net, with my -theoretically- 105 Mbps internet speed. (I don't feel like doing the work to share a screenshot of that right now, as I'm on my desktop.)..

My desktop averages about 95-105 Mbps over ethernet.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

Not so with your internet? How about some proof?

What do they know of England, who only England know?

Moving to powerline this week for lower Ping and better connection
I have like 50 wifi devices in my house, and wired devices get higher priority for the most part on my router.

I pay for 80/40mbps, but I only get 40/20 on my PC while my brother on LAN gets 75/35

My wifi connection is terrible.  The router is in the basement and I am on the second floor.  Unfortunately, I have no current alternatives.

Using my SHIELD Tablet for this... The. Wifi in this is insane. This is right beside the router though. But I do get around the same results while being in the same room. This is with the Telus router they provided.

I am not sure if you mean that you have a wifi router in your house from your broadband (internet) provider or all you have is a wifi antena attached to the wall/post outside of your house (some contries have this, here in UK there are Wifi hotspots which u can connect to and its basically same thing).

Also i love the post fro mthe guy who uses cable and posted anyway even thought u asked for these kind of people to not to do that....  ^_^

Here is my wireless connection (5 bars) to the router downstairs using http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WN822N-300MBPS-Wireless-Adapter/dp/B00416Q5KI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408062164&sr=8-2&keywords=tp-link+wireless+adapter (I love this thing !)

My internet provider advertises 16MB/s , best UP speed I have had is 0.86MB/s (welcome to UK broadband providers... )
