Quick question, I have an old iPhone 4s and my buddy wants to buy it off me but he is with Fido(Canadian provider) and the phone is locked with Telus(Canadian Provider) I know it isn't easy doing so but I know that people unlock phone all the time. So my question is, is their any way to switch the phone to be compatible with Fido?

Contact Telus and ask nicely, according the the CRTC they must be able to provide an unlock after 90 days of owning a phone.

Ask Telus. There's laws in place that require them to have to unlock your phone. There's a fee however, usually 50 bucks or so.
