So i spilled iced tea on my razer blackwidow, it works but should i do anything now?

TheWall

So i spilled iced tea on my razer blackwidow 2013, and it works, unlike my laptop that i also spilled iced tea on 5 months ago -.-, when it happened i plugged it out, cleaned up the mess, let it dry a bit and used a hair dryer on the area that i spilled on, it works now. But the thing is that i tried a little after it spilled and it was messing up a lot, like when i pressed a it would quickly type h after the a, it works now but i am worried. Is there anything more i should do? Also it works almost 100% but once in a while a button does not respond, not really an issue though

After I spilled coke on my keyboard, I unplugged it, washed it with the garden hose, let it completely dry, then plugged it back in.

As ridiculous as this sounds, it actually worked.

unplug it. let it dry thoroughly.

there could still be liquid inside the keyboard, but hasn't failed yet

I've spilled coffee/coke/etc on my blackwidow probably like 10 times. It stops working for about a day and then it's back to normal (I leave it in front of a fan). If the keys get sticky I just use a qtip and alcohol to clean the individual keys (not sure if safe or not, this is just how I do it).

I think you should be fine if you're already leave it to dry. I've spilled mine with hot chocolate before, still working perfectly.

Well, it has given you an option. Clean it over hours or pick up a keyboard worth buying. ;)
