Sup guys, need some help choosing a PSU. Below are my specs :

- i5 3550

- Asus R9 280X

- NZXT H440

- Samsung Evo 250 gigs SSD

- Seagate 1TB HDD

- 8 gigs Corsair Vengance ram

- Corsair Hyper 212X cooler

- 2 X Corsair AF 120 case fans

- 4 x 120 front included case fans

- I have at least 4 USB ports in use at all times (controller, Corsair K70 x 2, Printer, Mic, etc. Not sure if this info was important)

I don't plan on Crossfire. Might upgrade the GPU to a better one in about a year from now. I would like a semi-modular or a modular PSU preferably from Cooler Master or Corsair or Antec, since these are the brands that have decent support in India. I am thinking of a 750W one (kinda on a budget) but if you guys think its not enough, let me know. I looked at a few PSUs from Corsair but the prefixes confuse me.

Superflower leadex gold is a solid choice, otherwise evga G2, XFX XTR, coolermaster V series, be quiet powerzone and corsair RM (overpriced but not bad) are solid choices. Semi modular I would look at corsair CX and that's all I can think of.

The corsair RM series would be perfect for this build, and you won't need more than 600w. The RMs are fully modular and the cables are all black,  it is also incredibly quiet!

Corsair CX650M.

CX650M is not a very good PSU. The capacitors in that line are of low quality.

As for the PC components, as long as you do not intend to OC the CS550M is a fantastic PSU as is the RM550. The CS550M is cheaper though due to the face that it is semi-modular as opposed to fully modular. If you intend to OC the 600W is really all you will ever need at max but the CS650M, EVGA 220G G2 750W (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr) or the Seasonic M12II 620W (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii620bronze) will be what you are looking for. If you intend to go CF/SLI in the future then http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20850xr hands down.

Semi modular I would look at corsair CX.

Corsair CX is a true budget PSU though. It's not necessarily terrible but the CS series uses higher quality components (And comes in versions of 450, 550, 650 and 750 as opposed to 430, 500, 600, 750).

Cooler Master V550S

Corsair CX600, CX600M, CS550M, RM550.

Seasonic G-Series 550W.

Antec HCG-520, HCG-520M, TP-550C,

Since you said Antec, Corsair or Cooler Master, I would go for the CM V550S. The Corsair units are not very impressive. Low quality capacitors, and generally overpriced. They serve their function, though.
