Is it safe painting a radiator ?

I am planning to do a blue and black build with a custom watercooling loop. So I thought  I could paint my radiator blue as it would fit with the rest. My question is if it will effect my performance if I paint the fins too. I will be using a Alpha cool Xt full copper radiator.

you can paint the casing fine without damaging performance, but the performance will decrease if you paint the fins, as you are reducing the surface area to volume ratio, which will result in less heat dissipation, which will result in less cooling performance.

It might do, I wouldn't touch the fins.

If you paint the fins your radiator will become useless. Make sure you cover all the fins with tape or paper before painting the exterior.
