What will you be using them for? We can usually find something better from another company.

On that note from what I've heard they aren't bad. :)

If you want to listen to musics though I would suggest Sennheiser 558s.

Hope this helps :)

i want like the best bass for that price. :D another headset i have eyes on are Kingston Hyperx Cloud.

If that's it then they should be fine. I personally think you could find something cheaper if that's all you're using them for. :) Seriously though check out the 558s. :)

Oh, now you want a headset? Make up your mind! :P

For headphones, the HD 439, with a simple bass mod, is the most bassy headphone I've ever heard. 518 over the 558 Mr smith is suggesting (because it's cheaper and nearly the same). For headset, I'd go with the HyperX Cloud because of the great build quality, or the Plantronics Rig if physical volume control interests you.

Try always.

Then ignore them, and go with the HyperX.

Perhaps, but they also deliver significantly better audio quality. Coming from an relatively expensive gaming headset, when I purchased and actually used a pair of audiophile headphones I begined to appreciate them quite a lot. What I have is Sony MDR-1R , very good headphones for the price. Something from Shure is also a good bet.

This review should apply to the HyperX Cloud as well (basically the same headphone).

i found a store that sells HD 439 for $83. the ath-m50 for $135. is the ath-m50 worth the extra? and what is that simple bass mod?
