Help me find the most powerfull laptop for less than 582$/433€

So yeah.

My beloved HP G62 just straight up died... And i mean it's dead... It just flickered and now it won't start. I can also smell a slight burnt smell

I've had it for a looong time. And it's gotten really slow lately. So i guess it was time... Hopefully i can get my latest book project out of it.

 

And now i need to get myself a new laptop for schoolwork.. I have a dell 7737 but that's not really something i want to carry around with me in school (No lockers) As it weighs a metric butt ton

 

The problem is. Im not really into the whole laptop thing. So i need a bit of help.

What i want.

  • Something snappy and speedy. It's only going to be used as a school laptop but some extra horsepower is always nice to have in reserve. 
  • 6-8 hours of battery life during light to medium load.
  • NO touch screen 
  • Works with Fedora
  • Around 15" 
  • Maximum price of 582$/433€ (4000:-SEK)
  • If possible. Something that feels like a quality product. (A bit of weight. But not too much)
  • Available for purchase in Sweden

Any suggestions are welcome

I've found some good options:

According to the manufacturer, this has "up to" 8h battery life http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=2460149

This is probably the highest performing laptop I could find because it has a i5 http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=2742831

This probably has the longest "real" battery life because it has 6 battery cells with a low TDP CPU http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=2740355

I do like the two 8gig options. And the lenovo looks pretty nice^^
