The SSD is fine, the motherboard is also fine, change to a 970 gaming if you must, 280=/=280x

That's one of the worst SSDs on the market, my friend had that same motherboard with an 8350 and it throttled the hell out of it, and I realize that, but I think a 280 would be a lot better value, either that or step it up to a 290.

the 300 people that gave it 5 stars would like to disagree http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107 it is a great budget SSD. Like I said he can change to a 970 gaming OP can change to either if he wants

It used to be fine, then they started manufacturing them with way slower NAND, there are a ton of threads mentioning this, I'm surprised you haven't heard about it.
