LOL funniest topic ever. You know what works better than that button? a baby carriage, that certainly makes them fucking stop lol.

Seen something like this before. In the UK, they only work when it isn't a junction, otherwise there is no difference in time taken for lights to change. If it's lights on one road, then they will change almost immediately, otherwise wait about one and a half minutes or so.

i dont have friends anymore

especially after the indecent

i mean he still can feed him self whats the big deal

*facepalm* No, Obama has no control over what your city/district does with Traffic Lights.

 

Anyway they have a huge huge point, if it throws off the timing, then it can cause major traffic issues. Though I guess if that's the case they should just take the buttons out.

 

In my city, most of the time the button affects whether the walk signal is present, and how long it's on for. Also, on some lights, it will affect whether there is an advanced green, the duration of said advanced green, along with the duration of the light in general. But all of these things are hooked into a PLC or a computer network. Pressing the button doesn't interrupt the program, but rather it may trigger a function that checks to see if changing would affect the pattern.
