Its DONE, Thanks you Linustech for all your help!

intellectualjoke

well, the beast is built and up and running perfectly. i couldn't have done it without your help. i would recommend this site to anyone that is building a unit. i cant thank you all enough.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/svzddC

though the ram is a bit different... i picked up a set that looked different for cheaper. but same same.

excuse the mess in the background, i purchased a desk and chair as well so there was a TON! of packaging between the computer and that. (EDIT: and for the record the LEDs are not as bright as they appear in the photos... the LEDs caught the camera lenses and made it look like the thing requires sun screen and shades)

http://s43.photobucket.com/user/intellectualjoke/library/computer

parts not added to the build:

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

the drives were added to the build to give an idea of the final machine. The 4 1tb drives were salvaged from the original computer that this replaced. that will be enough space for my midget porn into the foreseeable future.

great site bud, and great videos. you and your community really help me with each part. my original build was ok but nothing like what i came out with. your reviews on hardware were beyond helpful and i always went to them before i traversed other reviews (even newegg). but in the end it was your community that molded it, make sure you treat these guys well they are a life saver. thanks again!
