PCI-E wireless adapter not working

I have a tp-link tl-wn781nd and it worked fine for a little while but after fixing my builds cable management it would keep disconnecting and dropping the connection. I tried screwing the pcie bracket and reinstalling the wireless adapter to no avail. Please help

Don't have one. I think it may be the router my phone briefly just lost internet

I feel bumping is neccessary. This thread has not served its purpose. I tried ethernet for a while which worked well, so it has to be the adapter. Thought it might be a range issue so I moved the router a bit closer, didn't help. On a similar note internet has been really slow lately even though that might have nothing to do with it. Any other ideas?
