Sennheiser pc350's sound like tin cans question

Joe3417

Speaking of which, I had a friend who said his hair managed to get stuck on a driver on his headphone. He recommends I clean mines out once in a while. Is that a thing?

Yes, it will absolutely distort the sound. Although if you find that you are frequently finding hairs on your drivers you probably need to reconsider your grooming and hygiene habits. My 449s have yet to get any hair in them after over a year of use for hours per day.

tin can? well they lack bass that's for sure, its made for gaming, intended for positional accuracy.
best bet is to change headphones.

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

Does your HTC One have the beats audio thing? if yes, is it on? if yes, try turning that off and see what happens. did you try front and rear ports on your PC?

A soundcard could help, but there are probably better solutions, such as a Syba DAC, the upcoming Fiio E10K, or if you wanna splurge an o2 + odac. These are all external solutions, as the inside of a PC is literally full of electronics and interference.

Switching the beats audio thing doesn't make difference. I did try the front and rear ports of my pc and they sound just as bad. Do you think getting one of these would make any difference in sound? : http://www.amazon.com/E6-Fujiyama-Portable-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B005HJWWW8

I actually have the MSI z87 G45 gaming. The audio on there is very good. So I dunno. (Driven HD800s off of that mobo's onboard before.) And I'm too tired to think.

You know, the usual people will be here soon enough to post their ideas.

are you using the soundblaster cinema with that mobo?

it would make it louder, but considering that's only an amp, if there's an issue with your motherboard it will not make it any better. I recommend you check out this: http://www.amazon.com/Syba-Stereo-Headphone-Amplifier-SD-DAC63057/dp/B009WN7QT4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406758377&sr=8-1&keywords=syba+dac&dpPl=1
