So until last week I had an A8-3850 and MSI A75A-G35. Since I upgraded I put the old CPU/mobo in my closet and I could probably build another PC out of it and the stuff we have in the basement. (I have a case and a PSU that would probably work, a 1440x900 monitor, I could probably find an HDD, etc.) The only thing holding me back is I don't know what I would do with it. I was gonna make an MC server out of my P4 rig but I was gonna host my favorite server since the person hosting that has awful internet but I completely lost contact with him months ago. I tried folding on the APU but the 6650D and CPU only got about 4.5k PPD combined. I do have like 6 old IDE HDDs and we have a couple PCI RAID cards that use IDE drives.

I could buy a 6670 and Crossfire with the APU but I still don't know what I would do with that.

I'd just use it to run a server for one of the new free to play games (Like Unturned), make a website through Enjin and try and profit off of it.

But.. We have no guests.. It would just sit there.

What do you even do with all your PCs.

EDIT: Just realized I used to have the same netbook as you. 1005HA. I never got mine past 2.1GHz though. (I have a D430 now. 1.33GHz Core 2 Duo, much more powerful. My 1005HA is actually up on eBay right now.)

It has a 2.5 watt CPU. I wasn't really worried about it. (I mean, the CPU is cooled by the metal between the keyboard and motherboard.)

It was about as powerful as the CPU in my Toshiba except that wasn't overclockable. (It supports 64 bit though. I still have that thing, just no screen.)

What. Why.

I hated that thing honestly. Couldn't even handle 480p. I'm much happier with my Latitude D430. (GMA 945. I can't get modded drivers to work with it but whatever.) The 5+ hour battery life is nice though.

You should just buy something used on eBay. My D430 was about $40 including shipping. Only thing I hate about it is that it uses ZIF drives and I got a 40GB for like $18. (A 32GB ZIF SSD is about $40-50) Plus the heatsink isn't that good.

My big E6500 was free from a tech recycling thing with no screen. I've got a 50GB SSD and 250GB HDD in it.

Lucky. My brother got a new laptop and I still have to use my E6500. I like it, but honestly it's getting old and pretty unreliable. Almost every time I try to turn it on or get out of sleep mode it fails to turn on until I reseat the RAM for some reason. (I want to upgrade the screen, swap to a Percision M4400 motherboard with a better GPU and Core 2 Extreme support, new battery, etc.)

Also, it seems that all our old PSUs only have 20 pin motherboard connectors so I'm gonna need one of those too.
