I would personally grab a FX4300 with a MSI 970a-g46 board, 2x4gb kit of RAM, AMD 7770 gpu, cx430w psu, and what ever HDD you want. This is what I would grab and in my opinion will be a better system for what you are wanting to do.

Edit* Also it is highly upgradeable.

Something like this should work: http://gyazo.com/d31d61a4fb33edbda98edb6f97390957

The i3 3220 is pretty much neck to neck with the 4300 in benchmarks but easily wins in single core performance which basically means better overall performance.

You know that this board doesn't support 2400MHz RAM without overclocking the controller?

Get some 1866MHz RAM ;)

Since you aren't running a APU anymore yo don't need fast RAM, you should get 1600mhz or even 1333mhz RAM to save money. And I can't help you with capture card sorry :(

Also what is a good, very cheap internal hdmi capture card

If you plan on recording what's on your PC, you might want to wait for GTX 750 Ti if it gets the shadowplay feature. 5% performance isn't too much to lose and it saves you the price of a capture card/software. Then again we don't know exactly when that might be releasing or if it will actually have shadowplay like the higher end models so it depends on how badly you need a new system.

Yes but you can overclock the AMD part.

To beat the 3220, the overclock must be quite decent meaning decent cooling. With the extra money spent, you might as well get a better processor.
