Posted July 23, 2014 Hi there! I live in India and I'm thinking of buying the lenovo y510p The specs are different though: I7 4700Qm(not too sure) quad 2.4ghz Nvidia gt750M 2GB DDR5 8gb ram (ddr3, assuming its 1333mhz) 1TB HDD How do you think this laptop will fair? Will it run gta v and watch dogs(considering gta v will not be as horrendous as a port that gta IV was. Also watch dog's bad optimisation is a test for the laptop) What do you guys think of the laptop overall? Seems like a great mid price laptop! Thanks

Posted July 24, 2014 Author It's a good laptop. Does the one you are looking at have SLI? Unfortunately the y510p sold here has only 1 GPU and an optical drive. Asked the lenovo forums turned out you can't ultrabay SLI a y510p w/ 750m Shame amazon doesn't ship laptops from the United States So right now people are saying that watch dogs will struggle. Damn. Apparently the worse mod increases optimization , how true is this?

UBISOFT is trying to take ea's rep for "worst company" then Oh well. I think it's a solid laptop. I don't plan on MAX OUT EVERYTHING!!!!1 but atleast play it at 1600x900 medium with fps above 30. I saw some gameplay of it on YouTube and it seems to hold up pretty well
