How are these builds as replacements?

The AIO in my kitchen is getting old and people were complaining about (AFAIK it has a Sandy Bridge Pentium) I suggested replacing I put 2 builds together. One build is $500 and the other is $900 now before you ask  these aren't meant for gaming.

Why would you need all that for nothing intensive?

Simply the fact that my dad asked me to put together an expensive one and a cheaper one.

I just can't get past the fact that this is for the kitchen.

Well we could just buy another AIO but that eliminates any chances I once had of getting paid.

It's the "Family" PC plus there is a desk there that would be empty otherwise.
