This will be my first time building a PC, but I have been researching and saving up for about 6 months for this. I am hoping to keep it under $1500 USD for everything including mouse, keyboard, and monitors. For the monitors I would like 21" to 24" 1080p monitors if you have suggestions, I'm not super picky so something inexpensive thats ~$150 that would work well to have 2-3 of. I already have an OS.

I know I have a mATX motherboard in a ITX case, I am planning on modding the case like this one- http://www.tonymacx86.com/retail-cases/63866-neilharts-prodigy-white-one-matx-itx-case.html

This will also be dual booted Windows and OS X so Hackintosh compatibility is some of the reasons why I chose some things but if you know of something better, please say so.

You can get AMD R9 280 for the same price as GTX 760 and it performs a lot better, almost like GTX 770. It also have 3GB GDDR5 instead of 2GB and larger bus.

Also no HDD, only SSD? I would suggest at least 1TB Seagate Barracuda with Advanced Format.

The link explains nothing.

If the only reason you are moding the Prodigy is because you want an orange case, would it not be a great deal easier to simply buy a white Prodigy M and paint it orange?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Or just use an itx motherboard?

Zotac has black/orange video cards to go with your motif.

Sorry, fixed the link. yes I like the orange but I've heard that the Prodigy M has some cooling issues and it doesn't seem too hard to mod the normal Prodigy.

I haven't found any Z97 ITX motherboards that I particularly like as much as the mATX ones.

The Zotac cards seem kind of rare so I haven't really seen many reviews on them or how they perform. Do you use one? And I do like the color scheme on them.

Never get a black unless you want the reliability, just get 2 Blues and run them in RAID 0 for extra performance at a lower cost.

I want the reliability because I have an SSD for performance and I've never used a RAID setup before so that is something new to me.
