What iGPU does this CPU have?

Go to solution Solved by Faa,

So it would be the HD 4000?

No. The name is just HD graphics GT1.

HD 4000 is Ivy bridge. This is the list for Haswell: http://images.hardwarecanucks.com/image//skymtl/CPU/INTEL-HASWELL/INTEL-HASWELL-23.jpg

Just for a performance idea:

GT1: 10 execution units, up to 184 GFLOPS at 1150 MHz (yours operates at 700 so cut 40% orsomething of it)

GT2: GT2, 20 execution units, up to 432 GFLOPS at 1350 MHz (4770k uses this one).

I was planning on having my mom get me a cheaper laptop so that I don't have to rely on my grandma's computer, and it has a Celeron N2830 in it. I was wondering what iGPU it had. I think it's something like the HD 4200, but I'm not sure, as I couldn't find it.

It will be the most basic version of HD, with Sandy Bridge you had at the bottom Intel HD then next up the chain is HD 2000 then at the top HD 3000

yo man, why don't you get a Trinity A8 or A10-based laptop? AMD APU laptops are usually cheaper and better if you aren't looking for the ultrabook form factor. CPU side they can keep up because Haswell i5s and i7s are super nerf, and GPU side there's nothing that can touch an A10-5750M except for maybe HD 5000 Iris and HD 5200 Crystalwell.

I know that it has Intel HD, just I wanted to know what model of it.

Intel HD, it is bad

Of course it is. ;)

I'm getting this so that I can get away from APU's. I have had terrible luck with them. And my dad has this exact same laptop as a backup, and it's pretty fast (for a Celeron).
