RATE THE PC SPECS ABOVE YOU :)

thetechdude

Bonus points for 3 way SLi.

9/10 because its not using refrence GPU coolers.

I wish they were reference now! Great besides the fact they are too thick and with the rigid 3-way bridge the fans cant spin as they are touching the card below. Rigged up with 3 flex cables.

You're the newest post that rated someone with specs in their signature, So you get an 9/10. You got 1 extra point because something about the GTX 580 is awesome to me. :)

My specs are in my signature, rate the new ones (not the old parts) and factor in my peripherals and monitors please. I also plan on getting a 970 in the future. Thanks to whoever rates my specs! :D

Well thanks for that. I plan on getting another one here in the near future. I will say that your monitors are pretty nice, and I love the HP one and it's 16x10 Aspect ratio. I see that you're running a 7770Ghz edition, and I had me a pair of those and they were pretty great. I even tried bitcoin mining for the LOLZ of it, and then burned my finger on one of the heatpipes. You also have a Xeon, so that shows you know how to look for a good deal, and shop smart, and do something different. 9/10 as it is now, 10/10 when you get that 970.

Those same Asus cards? Mine is very cool, 63C under full load with a clock of 1090MHz, (Idle at 35C) haven't had the time to push it.. If I had more free time, I'd probably use it for sleep anyway since I can't sleep at all.

Yeah, The heatpipes were doing exactly what they were designed to do, which is move heat. I was mining bitcoins with the sidepanel off, and was fiddling with some wires, and my finger bumped up against one of the heatpipes and they were hot. I was only mining for a short time to play around with the software. The cards only got up to about 80°C each so not really all that hot, the cards just have that good of a heatsink on them.

Going off the sig specs 9/10 props for using Win 10 but lost one due to only 8GB ram(I'm a tabaholic).

CPU: Intel I7 5820k

CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo (yea, waiting for the Kraken X61 in Europe)

Mobo: Asus X99-S

Yea, but that is exactly what I do, well 3D renders mostly and some streaming.

I did build it today, in a cardbox, since the case has not arrived yet :P

As for your PC Specs: a good 7/10 budget build. I'll be building a similar one for my friend some time soon. Just with more ram

GSkill 4X4GB DDR4 2400
(3) Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming 3-Way SLI

NZXT Switch 810
Corsair H100i
Corsair M95
Logitech G15 (soon to be new Corsair RGB keyboard)
Asus PB287Q 4K and (2) QNIX 2710 monitors

Sorry for going back some posts, but this computer looks awesome, and if you put 2 GTX cards in i would gave 8+

3 GTX looks to me like spending way to much power/nature/money in the system to get performance in return. Well, of course it maybe can help in some applications, so my question, For what do you use your 3 graphic cards??

I was running 7680 x 1440, and now 4k. It's definitely needed. And a bunch of folding at home. I may add the 4th if I change out the processor.

I posted on this thread before, but I got a new GPU so I thought I should throw out my specs again.

CPU: FX-8320

GPU: Nvidia GTX 770 4GB OC

PSU: Cooler Master 650V

Motherboard: Asus M5A99X R2.0 (Or something like that)

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz

Case: Corsair Spec-02

Hard Drive: Toshiba Canvio 3TB (I made it internal)

Cooler: Corsair H80i

My previous GPU was an R9 280X TOXIC. I wanted to get a new card because of the amount of problems I and many other people experienced such as random artifacts and crashes for no reason.

8/10, I think you need a better GPU even though it's probably identical to mine. xD Also, I love that OC on your CPU.

I plan to get something along the lines of a 280X, 290, or GTX 970 soon.. Probably going to go with a 290 as I'd like some extra money to save for a 1440p monitor. :P Specs are in signature, I'd prefer if you rated it with my monitors and peripherals. Thanks. :)
