Ever wondered how Intel sources the products for your CPU?

Intel have a campaign. Their campaign is to get product to make their CPUs without having to cause conflict or forced slavery. Most of use couldn't care where our CPU comes from. All we want it to do is work. (and overclock if you are in to that)

Where there's big money to be had, there's conflict.  There's absolutely no way around it.

 

They can campaign all they want.  The only thing that's doing is making people like you feel better about yourself.

Corporations like to buy materials at bottom dollar, and people who possess it are sadly all to often happy to kill each other over the opportunity to sell it.

What intel will do is set up a middleman.

 

Confict area > Bought by middleman company (owned by intel in some way) > Intel buy from them... so not buying directly from conflict areas.
