Which Cherry MX Switches do I need?

NeatSquidYT

I've head this is completely personal preference, but I don't have anywhere that I could test this out on. I'm looking at reds, but I'm not sure.

Blue switches because they're loud and satisfying.

When I bought reds, I wanted blues. Now that I have blues, I enjoy going back and typing on reds. Reds feel so premium. Blues' clickiness and bump makes them feel cheap. I bet o-rings would change that.

Personally I like recommending browns over reds for first-timers, the difference between browns and rubber domes is more noticeable than reds/rubber domes, and the tactile feedback is great while typing.

I do love blues with O-Rings, the switch goes down just slightly after the 'click', so I don't get that loud annoying 'clack' from bottoming out. Feels like cracking eggs under each finger, it's so nice :P

then buy individual switches online?

If you want to be absolutely sure you're getting what you want I'd recommend getting something like this: http://www.maxkeyboard.com/max-keyboard-keycap-cherry-mx-switch-o-ring-sampler-kit.html

so you could test the 4 main switches. If not, then browns or reds could be good for you if you're not looking for a louder switch like blues. I'd say browns is a good middle ground between all the switches. Getting a red might be too smooth, getting a blue might be too loud. Browns are a good idea for a first keyboard for you to know what you want to try next.
