Need help building a new PC

I need help building a new PC for Gaming and other general work. The parts I have picked out at the moment are,

 

  • HyperX LoVo - DDR3L - 1600 MHz /RAM (Kingston) for ram
  • Hyperx 3K - 480 GB SDD (Kingston) for SDD storage
  • Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 /OR/ Asus Maximus VI Extreme  either one for motherboard, i like the sniper because of i want a green themed pc. Help me choose between the two
  • EVGA Nvidia GTX 780 Ti
  • Seagate Desktop HDD - 2TB - 64B - SATA 6 Gb/s (STBD2000101)
  • ASUS Internal Optical Drive 24x SATA (DRW-24B3ST)
  • CoolerMaster 690 NVIDIA Edition /OR/ Corsair Obsidian 750D I like the coolermaster case becaues of the green colored theme. Please tell me which one is better aesthetically and performance wise
  • Corsair RM 580 for power

Get the Sniper board, Maximus boards are waaaaaaay overpriced for what they do. Get the 750D, there's a lower chance that you'll get sick of looking at it.

Very Nice! I can't see the CPU :/

You could swap the HyperX 3k for a Samsung EVO 840 or a Crucial MX100.

If your going to be gaming only with a little bit of low cpu usage tasks get an i5 if you will be doing any video editing at all get an i7 or any rendering for that fact.

 

Everything else looks good to me.

Or for the case you could go with the H440 Razer Edition from NZXT but it's a little pricey.

Oh yeah, The CPU I am thinking about is an Intel Core i7 4770K. For the case. Still one way or the other about the case and I like the maximus motherboard for the OC features. Can anyone tell me about the OC features on the G1 Sniper?

TheSlimyPig mentioned to swap out the HyperX 3K for a Samsung EVO 840 or a Crucial MX100. Can I have a reason as to why? As for the case, Is there any other case that you'd recommend? Also is the power supply enough? Will this need watercooling? I'm sorry if I'm asking for too much, but this is my first build. The community here is very quick in response so Thanks for your responses.
