Lucasfilm registers slew of domains for Star Wars Alliance, Bothan Spies, Order 67, Star Wars Rebels, many more

After seeing that Star Wars Rebels was announced I thought that this might interest you.

It was announced this week, that Electronic Arts and The Walt Disney Company signed a multi-year video game agreement which allows them to create Star Wars games.

Now Lucasfilm, which was acquired by Disney last year, has registered a slew of new domain names that include titles like:  Star Wars Alliance, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Wolf Pack, Wolf Pack Adventures, Order 67, Bothan Spies, Gungan Frontier 2, Gungan Frontier 3, Gungan Frontier 4, and Wookie Hunters.

Here’s a the list:

http://whois.domaintools.com/gunganfrontier4.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/order67.net
http://whois.domaintools.com/starwarsalliance.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/starwarsrebels.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/starwarswolfpack.com
http://whois.domaintools.com/wolfpackadventures.net
http://whois.domaintools.com/wookieehunters.com

While it’s unknown what will become of Star Wars: 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault, it looks like more plans are already in the works for other titles.

Movies? Games?  It’s anyone’s guess, what many of these titles like Bothan Spies are destined for.  But given the timing, you can bet many of the titles have something to do with Electronic Arts.

Thats just fantastic, giving a bunch of titles to EA so they could EA-it into the ground with their superior buisness models, microtransactions and other EA stuff..

Devs on their projects are extreamly capable-DICE,Visceral,BioWare- they make great games but the problem here lies in the publisher. Giving devs more free space on the titles(who knows if all titles listed above will be made) so they could make a really good game for EA to shit on

EA has been registering lots of domains in order to help keep their series running. If their series doesn't make use of these domains, then they wasted their money which is pretty stupid. Well its understandable since the company is EA.

I don't see anything with KotOR 3 written on it.

Looks like I'm passing all future Star Wars games. Thanks EA for fucking up the KotOR series!

EA gets a lot of flak from people, but they must be doing something right in order to be making so much money...  (heresy I know).

I might get something titled "Bothan Spies" and I would probably get "Order 67"

I really want a Rogue squadron game that stays true to the books, or a super-hardcore RPG!!

The KOTOR series was sadly fucked before EA. We were ready and waiting for kotor 3 way before Bioware started making TOR so they chose long ago to not make the 3rd game unfortunately.
