hmm but the problem is when i start to ramp up my OC is from 3.6 (base) and 3.7 it began to crash

Sounds like you have a dull chip, there all different and some can't oc at all.

It's luck of the draw not many people can get their 4770k to 4.8 and mine has been stable at 4.8 for almost 3 months not. My rig is on 24/7 to.

I know some people are unlucky and can only achieve crap OC's but not being able to get 0.1ghz? I don't think anyone is that unlucky

I find aero crashes when you overclock with software like AMD overdrive, use the BIOS.

Just don't even oc man it's not worth it, you may end up breaking the chip. If you really want to oc sell you cpu and buy a new one.

It's a long process and you may loose money but hey sometimes it needs to be done. I went through 2 4770k's before I got this one to stay at 4.8ghz
