Hi. I'm having severe problems with my PC right now. It's constantly crashing and restarting. My bios is version 0702. I tried updating through the EZ Update which connects to internet and updates your bios, it gave me bios version 0902. Everything is slow, and it gets stuck at the starting windows screen, it's a lucky chance I'll get if it gets past it. I don't know what to do, been happening all day.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Asus Z97-AR

look thur your mobo manual

there is one section where you can do a BIOS recovery

you need to download the BIOS version 1205 from Asus Website

I'm debating whether I should reinstall my OS with a fresh install.

you can try that

but if that didn't help

you just drop by your PC shop to get a thumbdrive for a few bucks

It seems I need a flash drive for that which I dont have I'm debating whether I should reinstall my OS with a fresh install.

OS and BIOS are two different things. Problems in one isn't solved by repairing the another. This time problem is BIOS. You need to fix it. Reinstalling windows will do nothing but give you extra work to get everything setup again.
