Alright, just one more little picture-update before bedtime, just to show it with more or less everything visible except tubing in there :)

Honestly, after some of the pictures I've seen on here, those aren't too bad

But they're still pretty shit

EDIT: What is that cpu waterblock? looks beast *cough*  that XSPC block, on the other hand... #ekmasterrace *cough*

The CPU-block is the Swiftech Apogee XL Biohazard, really cool looking yeah, and gonna be even better when the biohazard-symbol lights up :)

The GPU-block I chose partly because it was full cover, which I wanted for this build, and also the acrylic sides light up in green, adding to the general theme :)

Weekend is a great time to get stuff done, so I have a tiny update with some of the tubing :) This is my first time bending tubes though, so its not quite perfect yet, but I'm getting there

16FE607B-552A-4E1D-AB9C-59E174BB4E9B_zps

The result from the radiator to the CPU was alright, but the one from the CPU to the GPU became a little bulgy

Probably gonna redo that one later

Wow if you hadn't said this was your first time bending tubes, i wouldn't have thought so. They look really really sharp!

Good work :)

Did a little bit more tubing, mostly done now, just gotta wait for a 90 degree angle before I can make the last bend :)

There is a little bit of water in the tubes, not air bubbles in the plastic :)

Little update again, got some sleeving and a bit of extension cables :)

9C20F07C-E4CC-446C-99F1-BD3F0D973EB4_zps

Got some nice, sleeved front panel extensions cables from Shakmod. The cables inside the 250D are a bit short, and because of the placement of the connections on the MSI mobo, I needed these to route everything out of sight. Also, it is nice to have every cable going of of the mobo sleeved :)

Also got some green SATA sleeving, and some regular green sleeving

Also sleeved up one of the SATA-cables to see how it looks, and the result is nice :)

Just waiting for a few more tiny parts now, and I'll be set to finish of :)

Nice :D I lurve sleeving. Isn't it a bit cramped in that 250D?

It is very cramped :P

But that's part of the fun, and I'll try to show how I try to hide away everything when its done :)

Looks really good B)

I love little water cooled itx builds :D

Thanks ^^ a lot of fun effectively cooling small ITX-builds :)

Thanks, and yeah, it's a great case :) Always interested in seeing what other people can do with it, and I'm definitely not saying I have the best solution, so if you start a project, I'll definitely take a look :)

Thanks, and yeah, the heat shrink on the SATA-cable on the one side I'm definitely not satisfied with at all, so that'll be changed. Probably gonna sleeve it all over again, and perhaps with a shorter cable if I can get my hands on one :)

In a good way or a bad way? :P were supposed to be two nemesis-rads, but they ran out, so it was a bit of a compromise. And if you are thinking about the KOMODO-LV 780 cooler I was planning originally, I have no idea :P but the XSPC in my opinion is just as good :)

I dont mind the wrinkle style paint as long as there is more to go with it or atleast the similar parts have the similar paint. Shouldnt be able to notice it at some angles anyway.

And i meant the stock air cooler you replaced on that 780, whats to become of it?

-snip-

I have a question.

Do you think the LED would be replaceable in the waterblock?

Yeah, as I said, its a compromise, and it won't be seen most of the time anyways :) And I don't know about the stock air cooler yet, have both a 770 ASUS-air cooler and a stock EVGA 780 air cooler lying around now :P

I think replacing the LED would be kind of difficult, although not impossible. There are some transparent plates that come along with the block, to change the color of the light though, and I think the default LED-color is white :) You could look at the current last page of this great project http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/124241-cyprus-29-cooler-master-haf-stacker-update-10-july-28-copper-modding-cnc-time/page-6 , he has essentially the same block, and has done a couple things to the interior of it :)

Well I happen to be in the market for a 780 acx cooler for my other titan, just in case you decide to sell it.

  • 2 weeks later...

banner_zps285dbfc5.png

Short little update before final update :)

Ordered some stuff that got lost in the mail, and thus the long wait.. Kind of annoying as well, inexpensive parts, but had to order a new set, and got them fast :)

The entire thing is finished now, and I'll post some good pictures when I have some alright lighting.

The BIOS for the MSI-mobo was really great, fantastic to use, and I immediately clocked the 4690k up to 3.9, and its running perfectly stable at maximum 40 degrees celcius during gaming. The software for the audio is great as well, and really gives you the options about how you want your sound set up. Definitely recommending it for other people :)

So yeah, gonna get some pictures going in the next post :)

Alright, time for the pictures of the final result :) The only downside was that the LEDs for the GPU-waterblock were blue, so I've ordered some green ones, so I'll save the pictures with it up and running for later :)

Other than that, enjoy! :)
