What PSUs are the worst ?

Cheap low quality ones from unknown brands that are not certified 80+

Go buy a pre-built from Dell or HP or the likes. The PSU in that thing.

My grandma's HP has coil whine to the point where it sounds like a hard drive, you can hear it 10 feet away, and it vibrates the case. The old Dell power supplies (like 2004) were bulletproof.

Ok, I'll take your word for it. The $1200 Alienware X51 has an i7 and a R9 270, but only a 240 or 330w power supply. If I got one, I wouldn't even start a game before I upgraded the PSU.

Yeah... That's little. I'm not sure on the quality of the Dell power supplies now, sadly.

What PSUs are the worst ?

Generally power supplies that come with cases are not that great. A bad brand that comes in my mind is Coolmax power supplies.

Hyena/Deer and whatever their other aliases are.

Many many more. Basically the cheap Chinese ones.
