Exrtremely high temps when gaming on notebook

So I just started trying out some gaming on my Lenovo P580, and the temps I'm getting are just way out of my comfort. 83 degrees on the GPU core! Any ideas of what I can do? A laptop cooler doesn't seem to help much. 

 

Specs:

CPU: Core i7-3520M

RAM: 8 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M

Playing intense graphical games on a laptop will do that.

These are pretty average temps for a GPU in a notebook, even CPUs don't start throttling until 90-95C on most laptops.

Thats pretty normal, my 610m goes to around 70-80 while playing BF3

Have you tried using a cooling pad for your laptop? I have a Cooler Master pad under mine and temps are under control.
