Mostly Skype and hardware monitors, a clock and the weather. Sometimes it's also useful for a webpage or word document for reference. It's only a 4:3 15 inch screen so not a whole lot I can fit on it, but I find it incredibly useful.

Teamspeak and IRC... and sometimes server monitoring of some kind if I'm watching over a server in some way... If I am in something like Photoshop or Illustrator I put all of my windows and palettes on the second monitor to free up space in the workarea and/or run Adobe Bridge on the second monitor.

Hardware monitor, Skype, MusicBee, Teamspeak, a Twitch stream if I'm playing but wanna watch at the same time...stuff I'd normally have to alt+tab to see, but instead can just glance at and mouse over it. Having a second monitor is quite handy :)

PC Master Race, Audiophile, big AMD fan. I love PC gaming and PC audio :)

What ever suits my needs at the time. I often stream HD videos on the 2nd display while gaming on the main.

I've found 2 displays to be very useful and productive at home - so much so that I've requested a 2nd one for at work. :)

I have Terabytes of Television and movies so when I am playing a game on my main monitor, Diablo III, War Thunder. I have a TV show or movie on my monitor while I play a game on my main.

Otherwise even if I am on a forum or just browsing on the internet there is still usually some type of show on the other monitor. It would be hard to go back to one monitor since I have had two. So convenient. 3 would be the perfect number for me.. Someday soon,

Well, if i had a second monitor i'd use it for photoshop, 3d programs, and for game engines (for mapping).

But sadly, i cant afford it.

Mine is a free 17" Dell 1280x1024 which works great for monitoring system temps/clocks/etc, youtube, internet, WAN show, whatever really. I love having 2 screens.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

My 2nd monitor is only like 16 inches. I got it free from someone. Just ask around. People are getting rid of good monitors because they are getting a bigger one or getting rid of their desktop
