Asus sabertooth mark 2 vs maximus VII ranger

I am planning on a new pc with i7-4790k water-cooled. I am a gaming and has limited money and product avaliability in my region. So between sabertooth mark 2 vs maximus VII ranger which should i choose?

Thank you. But your reasons being? Cause two boards cost about the same and i dont really understand those small specs between them

unless you need or will use all the features on the Ranger

 

pick the Sabertooth

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

i would go for the Ranger.

 

The Ranger board in my opinnion has better onboard audio.

It has audio grade capacitors, which the Sabertooth does not have.

Further they are pretty similer in feutures

just reliability and the 5 year warranty vs the ranger 3 years

 

sabertooth can support up to 1866MHz RAM but for Intel you will be fine with just 1600MHz RAMs

Just to throw another one into the mix, the store near me has this board on special for the same price as the 2 above... Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H BK, Thoughts compared to the ones mentioned by OP?

im personaly not a gigabyte board fan, but this purely because of the headaces i had with a few in the past.

Offcourse theire newer intel boards will be good.

But i´m personaly more like Asus or Msi

 

My vote basicly still goes to the Ranger, because of its improved audio..

And the looks got me, cant realy help my self there..

remember that i´m a girl, and i have probably a diffrent taste then you have lol...

Anyway the Ranger is basicly an ROG entry level board, which is purly designed towards gamers.

For a nice price.

But the sabertooth offers 5 year warrenty..

 

 

 

THe Ranger is pretty similar to the Hero,

only the hero has 2 extra sata ports, and led lights in the southbride heatsink.
