Eyelid swollen (Help please?)

Hello!

I was lying down on my bed and after around ten minutes, I went to my bathroom wherein I noticed my eyelid was swollen. What should I do? The bedcover is often stored with several motballs. Could this be an allergy, or something else? This is the first time something like this has happened to me.

My family doctor is out of town and I'm a bit clueless as to what should I do.

Thanks and Regards,

Hulk

Go see an other doctor. Never trust the internet for medical advice.

weirdest topic of the day award goes to this one.

might just be something that got in your eye or some irritation.

if it isn't gone in 1 or 2 days go see a doc.

Don't actually, pretty sure it's just an old Wive's tale

Is it hard or soft? If it's hard it looks like sty, a very common condition when you're in your teens / early twenties. I in fact am suffering from it myself right now. In this case it will most likely disappear by itself, if it's not gone in 3-4 weeks go to the doctor (yes, it will often take that long and still disappear on it's own).

Personal for me it looks like you have a Sty(If that is what it s nothing major^^), just put some hot water on a tea towel and press it up against the swollen eye. Don't remove the towel till it has gone cold do this about 3 times ever ten minutes of the towel cooling down... I get these all the time. Also if the swelling doesn't go down with in the next three days then maybe see a doctor.

Thanks for the reply! I've looked it up and it doesn't appear to be a sty, but I'll try that after a few hours. I've taken some antibiotics in the meantime :)

Watercool it.

Hahaha!  Perhaps my eye is overheating due to insufficient cooling. This should help keep the TDP under control.

As others mentioned, see a doctor, not a tech forum for medical advice. You don't go to a site about breast cancer and ask how to boil an egg.

Well, this IS Off-Topic...
