So I've been a bit distant of the computer world for a while and wanted to know which cpus are worth buying for the money since I hear a lot of rumors that 2014 and more recent titles support multicore cpus.

Some of those rumors also support that the 8350 is a pretty good and real opponent to the 4670k.

Just wanted to know and hear your 2 cents about thia

Most cpus from both have their specific place and are good for some things and less good for others. Intel looses some points in the entry level range and amd has no real competitor for the i7 and i7 extreme line (the FX 9xxx cpus are only good if you want a cooling challenge ^^). Neither company has had significant performance boosts in the last 3 years (after intel's sandy bridge cpus).

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I got Intel because it uses less energy. It's cheaper than an AMD in the future.

Intel is generally better but costs more. try to buy intel but if it is too expensive amd is good for lower budgets

Okay so here's the deal, when you buy a computer you always have to take into account what kind of animals you have. The more hairer they are the more fans you need, you also need exhaust only with those kind. Don't get cats either they are even worse. They like to open the pc and pee inside of it. Don't even get me started about monitors and don't ever sli monitors, way too much cost...

Best bang for the buck is the 4th gen i5 for gaming, you will get more life out of it and Intel is known for it.

I used an AMD CPU years ago and it didn't last more than a year where my Intel was a few month older and lasted me 7 years.

Hell, right now as I'm typing on this PC it's running an E8400 and it's 6 years old now and I can still game on it. I just played Titanfall on it yesterday.
