linux Mint frozen on boot screen?

so i am install Linux mint, and its managed to accually boot to linux, well kind of.... its frozen here:

 

 

It said the "linux will auto boot in 7,6,5,4,3,2,1) screen, but then went here and stopped.

 

also i am booting off if a DVD because this motherboard does not support USB bootable devices

Did you try making another DVD? Check this one for scratches?

 

Did you run the MD5 sum on the download?

I'm pretty sure the dvd will let you check for integrity. Thing is even if the downloaded image was corrupted somehow, linux will still install or work, albeit fucked up. With most distros, you always have to check for that. 

So that's a possibility.
