Is it worth getting Windows 8?

I'm just curious, is it worth getting Windows 8 if I don't have a touchscreen monitor?

My system: CPU: Intel i5 6500; Mobo: H110M-k; GPU: Nvidia GT 730; Memory: 16 GB; HDD: 2x 1TB HDD;

Oh yeah, it's great. But get 8.1 because it's getting support.

I have 8.1 on my notebook. It's nice and all, but I don't think I could stand using it on anything that was for something more than casual browsing.

 

It all comes down to personal preference.

I have got Windows 8,1 installed on my 840 Evo SSD and it's perfect.

It's fast, responsive and every game and programs works fine.

If you already have Windows 7 I don't think it's worth it. If you have XP or Vista then it is a great upgrade.

it is true w8 is very fast but it is not worth it if you have windows 7 but as always i say one thing test yourself
