Battery problem with HTC Desire 601

So last week virgin mobile updated the HTC desire 601 model to HTC sense version 5.5. Ever since then I've noticed a massive battery drain from android system, as high as 85%. Unplugged my phone about thirty minutes ago and it's already at 85% without being used. Anyone have experience with this problem?

Drain your battery and perform a factory rest ( you will lose all your apps/settings/and stuff) so make sure to make a backup before performing a reset.

A factory reset usually solves this problem.
