Do you get apprehensive when spending relatively large sums of money?

Just bought the parts to upgrade my rig to a modern system, totaling around £600.

 

I must admit, I have the money and everything, but I still get really nervous hitting that 'Confirm Order' button.

 

Do you feel similar, even if you absolutely know you have the money?

yes, very much so, took me 1-2 extra months before i bought the parts for my new computer...

Yup, I think it's quite normal to feel that way. For me it takes about a day for the feeling to go away and instead be excited for it to arrive.

 

This is usually how I feel after a big purchase: "Oh my God, what have I done. I can't believe I just spent that much on this."

 

Day later: "Man, I can't wait to get it!"

I did feel that way when I ordered parts for my build for the first time. Now I need to keep reminding myself that I already have a very good rig and don't need new hardware, and thus watch I don't spend too much too easily

I despise spending large sums in one go. So when i do there are a few weeks of telling myself that it's needed and then when i am about to press the order button i need to use two hands.. Otherwise i can't click the button

I'd rather spend a large amount of money that I have than accumulate a large amount of debt that I didn't have.

I get apprehensive just spending $5... so yes. Especially when I consider that $5 could provide me with like, 2 or 3 days worth of food, depending on what I buy.
