Watercooling RAM

I have some questions, what are all the pieces I need for watercooling ram?

I don't care about the performance, it's just for aesthetics.  It's just that I found really cheap RAM, but the heatspreaders don't match my color scheme in the new build, so I was just going to watercool the ram so that colors won't clash, since it'll still be cheaper than the RAM I was going to buy.

I would try to emulate this, OCUK do sell this complete set from XSPC for watercooling RAM.

I just got offers on a bunch of stuff I was selling, they said they'd purchase tomorrow since the post office was closed this weekend, so then I can start buying parts. 

I already know how the loop will be, and watercooling the ram would save me money instead of buying platinums, and I'd also get an easier run from CPU-> top rad, instead I can go CPU->ram block -> rad. Will make the tubing way easier

 

The dom plats were $200, this ram kit is 16gb 1600 for $90, the waterblocks for the ram is only like ~60$ so I'm saving $50

I could buy the $90 kit from the guy on the classifieds then just paint it black, but idk.  I wonder if I could find someone selling dom platinum heatsinks, and just swap it, since almost all ram is the same PCB?

I'm talking like if they put a waterblock on it, they'd have no use for the leftovers, I did find a used kit on ebay for like $140, gonna see where bidding turns out, maybe I can save some $ and spend it somewhere else.  Someone got the $90 kit already apparently oh well.

 

Still debating if I want to do acrylic in this build, would be a good learning experience.

I wouldn't try acrylic unless I had all the necessary hardware, and have done watercooling before.

Also acrylic will either be really difficult to do because you need to bend all the tubes perfectly or it will be extremely expensive because you need tons of fittings if you are only doing straight tubing runs, and doing the bends with fittings.

I've already done a custom loop, it's not difficult it's just time consuming. I wouldn't have to bend much, even if I had to, a few hours of practice is NBD.
