Low GPU usage in Battlefield 4

When I play BF4, it used to be pinned at 99%. Now in every game I go in, my GPU usage is sitting at 70-85. Is there a fix to this? Why did it just suddenly drop?

Maybe they updated the driver causing better performance. It's also not unheard of for updates to help with performance issues.

As long as framerates don't drop and gpu usage is still in the high 70s-80s it's probably just a consequence of the latest patch. I wouldn't worry about it. maybe raise the settings and see if you can achieve the sme performance you had preciously at a better quality.

I play on Medium/High. And no, no V-sync.

My card stays around 62C when playing.

What is your VRAM usage ingame? As well as temps.

Tempature while playing is around 60C.

CPU usage when playing is 80-90.

GPU usage when playing is 70 - 90.

RAM usage is 70-80 when playing.

 

But when I am not playing multiplayer and in BF4's test range it is all fine and Normal. GPU is at 99 and CPU is at 75-80.

It's possible, but it doesn't seem that likely. How much VRAM does your video card have?

Prolly just not enough juice , heat or drivers

test your GPU with Unigine benchmarks or Firestrike

 

if you get constant 90+% GPU on GPU-Z usage it means your GPU is fine.

 

BF4 is not perfect, with all the patch files and maps download into the gamefile, the game will become bloated and be un-optimized
