No. There were experiments as far as i know, never publicly released though.

Probably would be an Extreme-Extreme processor for Extreme workstations in Extreme environments doing Extreme work while having Extreme power efficiency and an Extreme ability to overclock along with an Extreme amount of cores and Extreme-Hyper-Threading.

You forgot about  Extreme-Extreme  Extreme-Extreme  Extreme-Extreme  Extreme-Extreme  price :D

I think the Extreme editions were originally supposed to be i9s on 1366 but they probably scrapped it.

 

I want them to scrap i3 i5 and i7 though as for many customers it's quite misleading (with Intels focus on laptop parts etc).

 

There are i3s better than mobile i7s, but a lot of companies are using these i7s to make customers thing they're buying a laptop better than it actually is.
