Windows 7 UI vs Windows 8 UI

Windows 7's Aero because I'm not on a tablet or phone.

Keep the tiles where they belong. Off my desktop PC monitor and on mobile devices.

I actually use and have used Windows 8/8.1 for over 9 months. However, I actively use Classic Shell to give me a desktop & start menu that is equitable to Windows 7's experience with it. It is vastly improved because of this.

I honestly don't see how there is crap everywhere every time you turn on your computer. "not you specifically"

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

From everything I've seen I like the clean and modern Windows 8 look with rectangles, squares, and sharp corners. I haven't been able to use windows 8 myself though, as I am still on windows 7...

I mean I use windows 8 and love it I hate the UI. Which is what the poll is for not which os is better, because windows 8 wins. It just has more performance advantages once UI is out of their lol.

Win 7

 

I simply can't accomplish any work with the stock layout of windows 8/.1, it's beyond stupid.

The fancy crap that they added should have stayed on touch devices.

 

Any 'performance' benefits that the latest OS offers does not affect me in any way, nor is it noticeable.

I have win 8.1 on another computer so I can fiddle around with it, but I couldn't do any actual work on it.
