just go to microcenter? they are pretty much everywhere

No they aren't lol. Closest one from my house is 400+ miles that's a 6 hour+ drive.

I guess I'm lucky. I live 8.7 miles away from microcenter!

I have to go to an airport to get to one... I wish I had one 6 hours from me...

I'm kind of cofused as to how that is posible? I noticed your location says you live in New York. There are 4 locations in the New York area, Westbury, Gowanus Expy , Flushing, Westchester County/Yonkers. You also have one in New Jersey.

You must be new to this. You can't purchase their CPU's online nor their CPU+Motherboard combos. Which is typically what everyone buys at Microcenter. Those prices are god-like.

Yeah on that far of a drive you really would not be saving money, you would be spending more to get there then it is to get the good deals Microcenter has.

Staples used to do it but stopped because they suddenly have a "different upc" than the one at microcenter. I find this pretty shady.
