$8,000 Build, Help?

Xtify

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DwPjNG

Link to my build parts, I have a budget of 8-10K and wanted to get the best 4Kapable gaming machine I could think of.

I know I want the triple monitor set up and definitely a "future-capable" rig.

The case is negotiable since the one I picked out is pretty vanilla, and maybe tips on cooling options, fan or water cooling.

Not sure if this is a troll post or non-techie post.

I guess you just selected the most expensive parts and posted it here (just a hunch).

Even with 3 1080p monitors you are not getting a 4k resolution, you are only at about 6 million pixels, not at 8 million like 4k

Are you wanting 4k? or are you wanting surround?

Are you trying to spend the most money possible?? You could get just as much performance for 1/4 of that price.

I want atleast one 4K monitor and the other two on the triple set up being 1080 at least.

I know the one I picked out isnt a 4K monitor but I just picked a triple set up as an outline.

This is my first big build and am not sure if having a 1080p, 4K, 1080p triple monitor set up is plausible.

Also not sure if this set-up can handle the triple set up along with 4K.

If you aren't joking, some of those parts don't make any sense. You should get something like an Asus X79 Deluxe board instead of the Asrock Extreme11 which, may have some extreme features but it's extremely loud because it has dual PLX chips and it has a tiny cooling fan. You should get 32GB of RAM because 64GB is only needed for the extreme of the extreme video or 3D work, and if you're running Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and more at the same time. The Cosmos II is big but it isn't space efficient, you can't fit too many things inside it.  The Intel 4930K is pretty much a cheaper 4960X, it has very similar performance.

I want a future-proof rig and the price is flexible, I want the best gaming experience possible.

I dont want the most expensive parts, the budget just happens to be a bit luxurious.

No this is not a troll post, I really need help.

I got this list off of /r/buildapc, and would like a second opinion and advice on what a high-end PC would be - the best, not necessarily the most expensive parts are, to get the best experience.

Honestly, if you are seriously going to blow $8,000 on a computer. Take the time and do the research. There is no reason for you to waste that much money a rig you know nothing about. Take a few hours, learn about the hardware, make your decisions, then come back.

Very rough 2 minute job, but its nearly $3000 cheaper vs your like $8300 build, this is if you wanted a single 4k display

You can't play insurround with ifferent resolutions, I hope you're ware of that. With 2 1080p and 1 4k, you cn play 4k on one monitor OR 1080p on 3 monitors (set the 4k one to 1080p).

here's a build that will do what you want: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QgLtK8 2700 bucks, same experience. ONLY buy the cpu cooler if you want to overclock, otherwise it's wasted money.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

NH-D15?

A case that isn't as flimsy as the 760T?

EVGA Supernova G2 1300W is less than $200 at Newegg.

I said it was a rough build just throwing together some decent parts, was just showing that you can do a similar crazy build for MUCH less than the OP first did

Personally I really like the h100i and have enjoyed my experiance with it

I also love the 760t, just recently built in one and I just really like it, especially its aesthetic

Just picked the AX1200i as its a great PSU and matches the corsair case and cooler

Cases arent that important though right? Im sure I can find one compatible with all the components yet visually pleasing.

They are quite important, they contribute the cooling, neatness of cabling, space for expansion and more!

Though its down to personal preference do you go for cheap feature packed? expensive super build quality? sacrifice performance for aesthetic? etc etc etc

Save the 3000 to 5000$ and upgrade the video card when it inevitably will be too slow for 4K next year. Since you have made no mention of editing/rendering, you don't need X79.

Cases are important to the sorts of people who spend lots on their PC and want to be pleased with the end result. Besides that, compatibility for large CPU coolers and extensive watercooling setups is important to some. There is also the ease of assembly including cable management, and the materials the case is made of.

Yes, rendering videos is also something to take into account, not sure what more I would need to make that as fast as possible.

Thank you for your parts suggestions too, Im pretty much a noob at this whole thing, having help really helps i guess lol.
