It should do 60 FPS in games.

A single 290x2 can barely handle 4k so what makes you think that 2 of them can handle 3 times the pixels?

I want a future-proof rig and the price is flexible, I want the best gaming experience possible.

I dont want the most expensive parts, the budget just happens to be a bit luxurious.

No this is not a troll post, I really need help.

Futur proof won't excist. Can you look in the future? If so, please tell me the next numbers for the lotto please!

We don't know what the future will bring and what games will do.

What games do you play? Do you like to play?

The value of your build will drop SUPERHARD. It's better to not spend all your money and just buy a system now that will do just fine and upgrade the GPU's when you need more horsepower.

Anyway, here is my suggestion. Keyboard and mouse is hard to suggest, so I went with brands that I know and love. Ducky keyboards are amazing and Logitech mouse are kickass (personal preference)

Save the 3000 to 5000$ and upgrade the video card when it inevitably will be too slow for 4K next year. Since you have made no mention of editing/rendering, you don't need X79.

X79 actually makes sense when you go CF/SLI at higher resolutions.

In some games, there can be increases up to 30% on 5760x1080 resolution. When going from 115x to 2011.

On 2560x1440 it is lower, but still an increase.
