noob thermal paste w. H80

Go to solution Solved by Bagmup,

What thermal paste would you recommend to someone who has never applied one before?

i'm generally used to basic hardware upgrades/charges but have never installed a CPU and cooler before.

For use with an H80 cooler (the H80 is currently installed on my current CPU, so i assume i'll have to clean the stock paste off before i reinstall).

I've heard good stuff about the CL liquid pro and ultra, but also that there are definite risks, so if it's only a difference of a couple of Degrees , i'd rather play it safe.

thanks for you time :)

It comes preapplied with thermal paste. Why do you want to change the thermal paste?
